   A series of short films, this series shows different women from around the world making a difference in their community. Each woman per episode is working to solve a problem in society or pushing for a better world.

   A group of scientists discover a comet bound to destroy earth; and realize there’s only six months to live. An allegory for climate change, this film pushes the notion big corporations and people in power aren’t doing enough to fight the climate crisis; and it’s now or never.

3. I Am Vanessa Guillen - Type: Documentary - Where to Watch: Netflix

   The story of Vanessa Guillen, an army member who was killed and received no immediate justice. Her family fought for her justice and story to be told, as officials were not doing their job well enough. A story of family love but also of the broken justice system, this film provides a rollercoaster of emotions and sheds light on the families suffering from not enough answers from officials.
